Home Modifications

Vitality Support Care supports NDIS home modifications (group 0111) across Melbourne and Victoria — coordinating accessibility changes such as ramps, grab rails, bathroom modifications and doorway widening, working with occupational therapists and qualified builders from assessment to completion.

Our philosophy

Change the home, not the person

The right modification turns a daily battle into a non-event: a step becomes a ramp, a dangerous bathroom becomes a safe one, a doorway stops deciding which rooms you can enter.

The process

What the process looks like

  1. 01

    OT assessment

An occupational therapist identifies what your home needs.

  2. 02

    Approval package

Recommendations and quotes prepared for NDIS approval.

  3. 03

    Qualified trades

Works delivered by qualified, insured building trades.

  4. 04

    We coordinate

Timing, communication and any interim supports handled.

  5. 05

    Completion review

Final walkthrough with you and your OT.

During the works

Somewhere to stay while work happens

Major modifications can make a home temporarily unliveable. Our Medium-Term Accommodation exists for exactly this — a supported place to stay until your home is ready.

Do you do the building work yourselves?

Works are delivered by qualified, insured building trades; we coordinate the process end to end with your OT.

What modifications does the NDIS fund?

Modifications that relate to your disability and are reasonable and necessary — from rails and ramps to bathroom redesigns; your OT's assessment is the starting point.
