Innovative Community Participation

Vitality Support Care delivers NDIS innovative community participation (group 0116) across Melbourne and Victoria — one-on-one support to pursue interests, attend community events, volunteer, join clubs and build genuine social connections, designed around each participant's goals.

Interest-led

Not an outing roster — your actual interests

Community participation isn't a bus trip on a schedule. It starts with what you care about — the mosque or church you want to attend, the market you miss, the gym, the footy, the fishing spot, the TAFE taster course — and builds the support around it. Isolation is the barrier; your interests are the way through it.

Possibilities

What this can look like

Joining clubs and classes
Attending cultural and religious community events
Volunteering
Sport and recreation
Markets, libraries, festivals and concerts
Building confidence on public transport toward independent travel
The goal

Measured by connection, not attendance

The goal is that over time you need us less: you know people there, you know the way, and the community knows you.

Questions

Community participation questions

How is this different from group activities?

0116 is individual, interest-led support; group and centre-based activities (0136) are shared programs — many participants use both.

Can support match my culture and language?

Yes — that's often exactly why families choose us.

What do you miss doing?

Let's build the support around it.
